Returns & Refunds policy

At KLAYHOUSE, every jar of Klay Butter is handcrafted in small batches. To keep things fair and clear, we’ve created a straightforward refund policy that protects both our customers and our production process.

Exchanges

If you want a different item, the fastest option is to place a new order.
You may return your original jar following the return guidelines below.
Once we receive and approve your return, we’ll process your refund.

Returns

We accept returns within 7 days of delivery.

To qualify, items must be:

  • Unopened and unused

  • In original packaging with seals intact

  • Accompanied by proof of purchase

Return shipping costs are the customer’s responsibility.
A 20% restocking fee applies to cover small-batch production costs.

Items sent back without approval will not be accepted.

Refunds

Once your return arrives, we’ll inspect it and email you with an approval decision.

If approved:

  • Refunds go back to the original payment method

  • Please allow up to 10 business days for processing

  • Your bank or card issuer may require extra time to finalize the refund

Damages & Issues

Check your order as soon as it arrives.
If anything is damaged, melted, incorrect, or defective, contact us within 7 days of delivery so we can review the issue and make it right.

Claims made after 7 days may not qualify for replacement or refund.

First-Time Buyer Skin Safety Guarantee

Trying a new skincare product can feel risky — especially with sensitive skin.
That’s why we offer a First-Time Buyer Guarantee on your first purchase of Klay Butter.

If the product irritates your skin or simply doesn’t work for you:

  • Email us within 14 days of delivery

  • We’ll issue a one-time refund on one full-size jar

Terms:

  • Limit one jar per customer

  • Applies to first-time orders only

  • Only valid for full-size Klay Butter

  • Does not apply to sample sizes or limited-edition drops

Non-Returnable Items

We do not accept returns on:

  • Sample sizes / mini jars

  • Final sale items

  • Opened or used products
